Planning for Sustainability Supplementary Planning Guidance (SPD)
Consultation is live on our new Sustainability SPD and will run to Friday 17 May 2024, giving you a chance to have your say.
The SPD is one of the initiatives in delivering the Climate Action Strategy and meeting net zero throughout the Square Mile by 2040. The document is designed to provide comprehensive guidance, actions and recommendations for building sustainability into the planing development process. It also supports the emerging City Plan 2040.
The SPD covers the following:
- Retrofit and Reuse
- Greenhouse Gas Emissions and Energy Use
- Circular Economy
- Climate Resilience
- Urban Greening and Biodiversity
