GLERA has invited all the constituency candidates in the upcoming General Election to come and answer residents’ questions at a hustings, chaired by our Alderwoman Sue Pearson.
We only have capacity for around 70 people so Golden Lane Estate residents will be given priority – please help by turning up at least 10 mins early or reserve a spot by emailing secretary.glera@gmail.com.
Our friends from the surrounding neighbourhood are of course welcome but it will very much depend on space…

The official candidate list will be published by 7 June – at time of writing there are currently six candidates who have declared:
- Tim Barnes | Conservative
- Rachel Blake | Labour
- Huge de Burgh | Social Democratic Party
- Edward Lucas | Liberal Democrats
- Giuseppe Pezzulli | Reform UK
- Rajiv Rahul Sinha | Green Party
All candidates, apart from Reform UK, have confirmed they will attend.
