open gardens weekend

Once again the Golden Baggers opened up the allotments and the community cafe to visitors for the annual London Open Gardens weekend. On Sunday residents and visitors also enjoyed the London Metropolitan Brass Band… even though it wasn’t very warm!

big thank you to everyone who helped out over the weekend and those who baked the most fabulous cakes.

We had 415 adults and 26 children visitors on Saturday and 279 adults and 16 children on Sunday so in all 736 visitors. The cafe made £630, plant sales £49.50 and Stitchers made £20 from sales of their bags.

This was a record year – thank you!
