There are four candidates standing in the upcoming Cripplegate by-election on 2 November:

  • Adam Hogg (Independent)
  • Arne Mielken (Independent)
  • Jan- Marc Petroschka (Independent)
  • Jacqui Roberts Webster (Labour)

Please come along to meet them, ask questions and hear how they plan to best represent us at one of the following hustings organised by Golden Lane Residents’ Association and the Barbican Association:

Tuesday 17 October at 7 pm 
Golden Lane Community Centre (downstairs)

Wednesday 18 October at 7 pm 
St Giles Church, Barbican

There is an election for Common Councillor in Cripplegate on Thursday 2 November, 8am-8pm. Your polling station is Sir Ralph Perring Centre, Golden Lane Estate, London, EC1Y 0SH.

A ward meeting, where you have the chance to meet the candidates, will take place at 7pm, Wednesday 1 November, at Barber-Surgeons Hall, Monkwell Square, London, EC2Y 5BL.

A poll card will be delivered to you shortly detailing your chosen method of voting. If you will not be able to attend the polling station on 2 November you can apply to vote by post. Applications must be with us by 5pm, Wednesday 18 October. Alternatively, you can appoint a proxy to vote on your behalf. Applications to appoint a proxy must be with us by 5pm, Wednesday 25 October.
