Dear Residents and Neighbours,
Hatfield Podium waterproofing works: Closure of access near Sir Ralph Perring Centre, March 2026
We are writing to inform you of a temporary closure to the pedestrian route across the Golden Lane Podium in front of Hatfield House.
We are planning to start the waterproofing in front of the Sir Ralph Perring Centre from the week commencing Monday 2 March.
This will mean that access is restricted in that area. Please see the plan overleaf [below] with the pedestrian diversion routes highlighted.
We anticipate that the works in this area will take 2 weeks to complete.
During this time, you won’t be able to access Sir Ralph Perring Centre from the front door, so the entrance will be via the gates behind the building. Please contact Stephanie at the Community Centre if you have any queries about any bookings.
We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause you and thank you for your patience and cooperation while these essential works are carried out.
