  • There will be 2 phases to make sure that the East West access is maintained
  • For 2 weeks in February SRPC will need to be accessed through the allotments

  • The children’s playground will be closed for the duration UPDATE: contractors are now trying to find away around this

NOISY WORKS

  • Scaffolding will be erected along the line of the grass and outside the leisure centre to carry a moving roof to protect the works (2-10 Dec will be noisy)
  • The noisiest work (breaking up the concrete) will take about 3 weeks in total from the end of December into January.
  • The area will be fenced off and there will be acoustic screens around the work when its noisy

SERVICES

  • Site accommodation will be in underground carpark
  • Site storage will be at the end of Basterfield Service Road
  • They will be using electrical equipment where possible and recharging them overnight at the leisure centre

COMMUNICATIONS

  • There will be 2 site noticeboards with information about the works and the contact numbers of the PM and site supervisor. If there is an issue call them in the first instance
