In September 2025 the City of London launched the City Living Resident Card which gives Square Mile residents discounted access to City attractions, cheaper gym memberships and money off at restaurants and bars. New offers are added every week – check the website for full list (residents can also make suggestions).
To get your free card visit your local City library; Artizan Street, Barbican or Shoe Lane Library. Residents already signed up to the library can exchange their existing library card for free. If you don’t already have a library card you will need proof of address and a form of ID – you can start the process for joining the library here.
This card is designed to celebrate our residents, offering access to exclsuive experiences, local offers, and services that enrich everyday life in the City. It also doubles as your library card, making it easier to explore, learn, and engage.
Part of our Residential Reset programme, this initiative aims to strengthen and support a thriving City Living experience for all residents.
Our exclusive offers include:
- £1 ticket to visit the Monument
- £1 ticket to visit Tower Bridge
- Free entry to Dr Johnson’s House
- 20% off tickets at Guildhall School of Music and Drama
- 25% off monthly membership at Nuffield Health
- £14 off a monthly membership of Anytime Fitness
- 20% off at Bread Street Kitchen
- 10% off at Eataly
- 10% off at Terra Rossa
And this is just the beginning, more offers and partners will be added as the scheme grows, so your card will become more rewarding over time. We’d also love to hear from you, if you have suggestions for offers you’d like us to see, share them with us using the form on our webpage.
To keep up to date with offers, events and updates, sign up to receive the City Living resident newsletter or visit the City Living Resident Card webpage.
