The Estate Office is under Great Arthur House – the entrance faces on to the carpark, across from the community centre.
Our Resident Services Officer is Allison Panks and she takes the lead on helping residents with housing related issues, essentially anything related to your home or tenancy. Allison will also promote resident involvement and engagement, for example supporting the work of GLERA.
Our new Estate Services Supervisor is Rafal Sikorski (June 2024) and he takes the lead on managing porters/ cleaning and gardening services. Before Golden Lane, Rafal worked on the Barbican Estate; Gavin Orr our previous Estate Services Supervisor has transferred to Middlesex Street.
The Customer Services Officer is Noreen Heslop and she deals will all initial enquiries either in person, on the phone or by email (see contact details below).

Golden Lane Estate is able to offer guest accommodation, the rooms are located over three floors in Crescent House.
There are three single and three double rooms available. For more information and photos of the rooms see the PDF below.

The current prices are:
Guests of Golden Lane Estate residents:
- Single: £30 per night (Maximum 1 person allowed) +£5 per booking if you are not bringing your own bed linen
- Double: £40 per night (Maximum 2 people allowed) +£5 per booking if you are not bringing your own bed linen
Please note, the maximum stay is 14 days.

housing team structure
In 2022 as part of a review of staffing arrangements across the City of London Corporation, the Housing team made some changes to local estate teams and some of its ‘back office’ services.
We are phasing out certain job roles and introducing some new ones, but overall staffing levels on your estate are not changing.
The current Estate Manager and Estate Officer posts, which deal with both housing and estate matters, are being phased out. We are bringing in new specialist job roles which will have clearer responsibilities. These new posts will continue to be based locally on your estates.
The changes are intended to make it clearer who is responsible for what, and to improve customer service and estate standards on City of London estates.
