DESCRIPTION:Golden Lane Estate Office\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPeta Caine (Assistant Director – Housing) and some members of the Housing Senior Management Team (SMT) are hosting a series of surgery sessions starting in March. The aim of these sessions is to gain a better understanding of the issues and concerns you have about the estate and your home. \n\n\n\nThe first surgery will be on Wednesday 19 March\, 4-6 pm in the Golden Lane Estate Office\, Great Arthur House. \n\n\n\nSMT members will attend on a rota basis and will be available to discuss specific projects relevant to the Golden Lane Estate. \n\n\n\nFurther surgeries at the Estate Office will continue fortnightly throughout April: \n\n\n\n\nWednesday 2 April\, 4-6 pm\n\n\n\nWednesday 16 April\, 4-6 pm\n\n\n\nWednesday 30 April\, 4-6 pm\n\n\n\n\nYour feedback is invaluable to us\, and we believe these surgeries will provide an excellent opportunity for open dialogue between residents and members of the Housing Senior Management Team. \n\n\n\nWe encourage you to bring any topics or concerns you would like to discuss.

DESCRIPTION:Golden Lane Community Centre\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAt the last GLERA residents’ meeting on 6 February we discussed an action day where we can come together and take a ‘stocktake’ of our estate – what improvements would we like to see\, outstanding repairs\, ideas for greening and biodiversity… \n\n\n\nIn April we will have a new Repairs + Maintenance contractor (Chigwell)\, along with a new set of Councillors (don’t forget to vote on 20 March!)\, so this will be a perfect time to feedback to them the resident perspective. \n\n\n\nJoin your neighbours to explore the estate\, take photos and add to the digital interactive map and on the wall giant map of our stocktake findings (signs of disrepair\, ideas for greening etc…) \n\n\n\nPlus find out more about our resident lead events group GLEE and the newly forming Golden Lane Archive\, help form a working group to look into Right to Manage\, or just hang out at the community café! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nprogramme\n\n\n\n11.00 | Community café opens\, grab tea and cake and chat to some of the resident groups who’ll be there for the duration. \n\n\n\n11.30 | first quick briefing before heading out to take photos\, log observations.Briefings will continue as and when needed so don’t worry if you can’t get there then. \n\n\n\n12.30 – 2.00 | photos and comments uploaded to the online map.
