SUMMARY:CoL pets policy consultation
DESCRIPTION:Sir Ralph Perring Centre\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDear Resident\, \n\n\n\n\nThe City of London Housing Service Pets Policy is due for review this year. We are asking residents for their views on our current Pets Policy\, which sets out the rules for pet ownership for those living in homes managed by the City of London. Read more about the consultation and the current policy on our website. \n\n\n\nWhile the whole policy is being reviewed\, perhaps the most important issue is dog ownership. This part of the policy tends to be the most discussed and gives rise to the strongest views from residents. \n\n\n\nYou are invited to attend a workshop\, during which residents will be able to share their views on the consultation and discuss together what the options for the future might look like. There will also be a final survey after the workshops for residents to share their opinions. \n\n\n\n\nOnline sessions: \n\n\n\n\nTuesday 27 February – Online via Microsoft Teams 5.30-7pm | sign up for the February session\n\n\n\nThursday 7 March – Online via Microsoft Teams 5.30-7pm | sign up for the March session\n\n\n\n\nPlease register for the online sessions to be sent a joining link. These are hosted on Microsoft Teams but you are able to register as a guest\, and do not need a Microsoft account. \n\n\n\nIn person drop-in sessions: \n\n\n\n\nMonday 4 March – Middlesex Street Estate\, Artizan Library 5.30-7pm\n\n\n\nTuesday 5 March – Golden Lane\, Sir Ralph Perring Centre 5.30-7pm\n\n\n\nWednesday 6 March – Dron House Community Hall 5.30-7pm\n\n\n\nMonday 11 March – York Way and Holloway\, Holloway Estate Community Centre 5.30-7pm\n\n\n\nTuesday 12 March – Southwark Estate Office 5.30-7pm\n\n\n\nWednesday 13 March – Avondale Community Centre 5.30-7pm\n\n\n\nThursday 14 March – Windsor House Community Hall 5.30-7pm\n\n\n\n\n\nAll sessions are open to residents from any estate\, you are welcome to attend a session on a different estate if that is convenient for you to do. \n\n\n\nKind regards\, \n\n\n\nCity of London Housing Service

We want to hear your views and embrace your insights and expertise. \n\n\n\n\nJoin us for the March City of London Citizens Forum to held on the evening of Monday 18 March 2024 from 6.30-8.30pm at The London Centre and supported by The Culture Mile BID. \n\n\n\nThese informal monthly Citizen Forums are open to all residents of the City of London and will always be free to attend. They have a clear purpose to explore the City of London Corporation’s flagship policy – Destination City. The policy is designed to celebrate\, promote\, and support the Square Mile’s unrivalled history and heritage\, its world-class arts and culture\, restaurants and bars to UK and global visitors and all Londoners. It is intended to set out a vision for the Square Mile to become a world-leading leisure destination for visitors\, workers\, and residents to enjoy. \n\n\n\nNo-one knows and loves the square mile more than the residents who have to chosen to live here. With this in mind these informal forums\, held on the third Monday of every month in venues around the City\, will seek to explore the views of residents and harness the skills and knowledge of residents as we plan how best to use Destination City to create a vibrant and fabulous City in which to work\, visit and live in. \n\n\n\nIn exploring different venues across the City we’ll discover some of the hidden treasures within the City and discovering some of the extraordinary opportunities available to workers\, visitors and residents. \n\n\n\nThe Forums are personally organised on a voluntary basis by the Resident Representative on the City Envoy Network\, Brendan Barns\, Common Councilman for Farringdon Within. He has lived in the City of London for over 25 years and loves it! If you’d like to help with organising the Citizen Forums or have ideas for Destination City you can contact him by email at brendan.barns@cityoflondon.gov.uk. \n\n\n\nFind out more about Destination City. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRESERVE FREE SPOT
